    Re: ISO Kevin Oyarzo

I have an old Claude Lavey (I think that was his name) photo of the piece and the crew at Bentonville around the main house on the grounds, sort of like we stop just in the right place, when photo was being taken and then we moved on.
I have thought over the last few weeks I should find it and enter it for the photo of the month thing. It slightly different because it artillery and it's not a really close up shot either. Only issie is I can't remember everyone name who was in the photo, I can ID Kevin, old Papa Simmons, myself, Alan Z (can't remember his last name), I think Tim Allen is in the photo as well, but that is all I can seem to remember right now. I think the ones I can't remember are still part of Kevins crew, at least from the photos I have seen on County Cloth Inc web site.

      Huck,

Was it Allen Ezersky? Claude Levet was the best. I'd love to see that photo.

Yes it was Allen Ezersky, I thought his last name started with a Z. He and Dave Borne (I think thats his last name) and Todd Kern got me started on my cav impression. Plus having Slim Berg around for my first saddle was also a plus. Looks like I am going to have to scan that photo and enter it for next months photo contest.

He, Dave and Todd are all amongst the best guys who've done cavalry ever. Amazing impressions and all never settle for anything other than the best when recreating all aspects of the mounted arms of the service: horses, saddles, tack, weapons, uniforms, drill, etc.

I miss Dave Borne. Haven't heard from him in many years. And Slim...well, there's simply few better saddlers out there.

Hey, Here I am. I spoke to John. All is well. I am hoping to put a gun back on the field. I started a thread about it.

I had an awesome time at the preservation march too. I am up for some more good times IF I can get the help I need.
