  • Moving to NJ, looking for some pards

I am taking a new job in Northern New Jersey (Secaucus) and will be moving by the end of this month/first week in December. Life is absolutely going to be insane for me the first few months, but I'd like to get in touch with people to pal around with at events in the North Jersey/New York area. I'm looking for a duel impression outfit. Thanks in advance for your help!

You're moving to NJ? Are you crazy? I just spent the last 15 years of my life trying to get out of there!

But anyone, get ahold of Sean in Co C of the CVG.

HA, that's what most people say. I grew up in Pennsylvania and now am moving from Virginia, so my lungs already have a tolerance for smog. Too good a gig to pass up. Thanks for the information I will be sure to contact them!

Yeah, they all say that. Until the insipid gun laws, frantic traffic, massive congestion, taxes, real estate and rental costs, and general atmosphere finally get you.

I wonder if you will have Byrd Park bums crappin on your porch up there also? Good luck with the move man.

I was yelling and screaming inside my car about two hours ago in Secaucus, stuck in traffic, trying to get to the UPS Customer Service Center to pick up two packages.

I live in Bayonne, which, on normal roads back in my native Central Jersey, would be 15 minutes away, but in the hellhole traffic that is North Jersey, I'm about 2 hours and a lot of cursing and swearing away.

Received. “How now about the fifth and sixth guns?”
Sent. “The sixth gun is the bully boy.”
Received. “Can you give it any directions to make it more bully?”
Sent. “Last shot was little to the right.”
Received. “Fearfully hot here. Several men sunstruck. Bullets whiz like fun. Have ceased firing for awhile, the guns are so hot."

This is why I ride a motorcycle in NJ. It's the only way I have found to avoid or get through the traffic fast, though it can be hair raising to split lanes at 65mph! :D
