Western Federal Blues Recruting for 2012 Campaigns of Shiloh and Perryville

All,
The Western Federal Blues are recruiting companies for the Shiloh 150th and Perryville 150th in 2012. We are specifically looking for a company from Indiana and Ohio for Shiloh - if you are interested in helping raise a company from Ohio or Indiana contact us asap. We already have the Black Jack Mess putting together and Ill. company and the South Union Guard putting together a company from Kentucky. At Perryville we have 3 companies forming up for October 2012. You can find out all of this information on our Facebook page or web forum.

The registration page for Shiloh is up on the Western Federal Blues website. We currently have two good companies going to Shiloh, but there is room for more. If you are interested in going into the field and recreating the Union Civil War soldier who fought at Shiloh I invite you to join us. We will provide a full ration program, alter ego program as well as participating fully in the military activities of the time period. We will provide for you a historical experience that you will remember.

The Western Federal Blues has formed 3 companies for the BGA Shiloh event. If you are a Federal and need a home for the event please consider falling in with the Blues. We have the 20th KY, 18th ILL. and 14th IN. The basic Federal kit will do and we will provide a ration issue as well as an alter ego program. I attended the BGA meeting in Nashville last week and they are doing a great job of working on a really good event. They are in need of Federal infantry. Men of the West! The Black Jack Mess needs you! Help them fill out their company! The Shiloh event registration is closing soon! The WFB registraiton closes on March 7 and the BGA closes entirely on March 12. The battalion is growing quickly and we need the men of Ill. to have a full company for the event.
