Guys:

Man, it is great to hear from some of the people who share some of my best memories. To answer some questions.

- Liechty will be in the field in a couple of weeks at McDowell along with 8-9 of the boys in the mess. He is currently researching whether we can include feathers and coon-tails in our impression at the event. We also want to maximize our brass to hypnotize the Rebs.

- John, although we tried our best to thin out the herd at Rich Mountain, alas we were unsuccessful. With the temperatures in the low 60's, you would think there would have at least been some frostbite.

- Herb, yes, you are correct. I believe "drawn-and-quartered" would be the appropriate phraseology.

- Huck, We still have people lost from the first Bummers event! Now, where did I leave my map?

- Silas, it's been three weeks and I still taste pickled bologna when I belch.

- Rob, you can have my overcoat, but my cat has been using it as a bed for the last three years.

- John, there are some out there that think one Eric Tipton is waaaaay more than enough.

- Pat, it's me, Joe Liechty. Eric Tipton ist das am meisten falsch soldat, jemals das Feld. Ich habe darmkrebs bewegungen darzustellen, dass ein Soldat besser als er kann. ICH Rülpset in seiner allgemeinen Richtung.

(And, if you do Bummers II, Huck wants an entire wagon filled with goobers for the end of the march!)
