  • Help finding a good outfit out of Arkansas.

    Got a pard moving to Arkansas in the near future, looking for a good progressive, authenic outfit. Wants to do immersion, semi immersion, and living history. Prefer's Confederate, but willing to do Federal impressions.

    Can you help my pard out?

      I would recommend the Tater Mess, they are based out of Missouri, Kansas, and Arkansas.

        The Tater Mess is out of the Kansas City area. The 24th Missouri (Cal Kinzer's group) is much closer to the Arkansas area than the Taters. Then,on the confederate side down in Arkansas is the 4th Ark. The 11th Missouri State Guard is located near Springfield,Mo. Mike Comer's group,The New Madrid Guards are near the missouri/arkansas border as well. Then again,what part of Arkansas are we looking at for your pard?

          We are working on a campaigner unit to do 19th Dawson' Arkansas Infantry at 150th Arkansas Post next year. Nic Clark is heading it up.

            As Marty Rubin said, the 24th MO has members in Ark, Mo, OK and TX if you are wanting to do Federal. Our website needs a little updating;
