looking for a federal unit nw indiana/northern illinois

Like the title says. Getting back into reenacting and looking for a progressive federal unit. Am starting from scratch though, and not on the biggest budget. So far I'm going to fall in with a mainstream unit and build up my authentic impression and just use the ac forums as a guide since it'll take me a year or so to get the basics down

Now about me, I'm 22 and a former civwar reenactor having done both main stream union and progressive confederate. I liked both but prefer progressive events, especially first person/authentic camp life. Have expierence as an infantry pvt and company clerk/camp cook.
