I'm looking for an authentic unit in the Fayetteville, NC area. Prefer Confederate, but have an interest in Federal as well. The family is in a mainstream unit, but are looking to possibly make a few forays into more authentic/campaigning reenactments. If some pard could assist me in making acquaintance with a unit or mess, I'd be much obliged.

I would recommend the North State Rifles of North Carolina, the Liberty Rifles predominately from the mid-Atlantic states, or the Palmetto Guards of South Carolina.Lewis M Robinson Jr

The Western Rifles is a Federal Mess that has members from the SC up through PA. We've got members in Raleigh, Charleston, and central NC area.
