I can't find a contact for the Ropesmiths; their web site is gone. Are they still in business, or is there another source for correct lariats around?

    Ahoy Jerry!

Doug Kidd advertises a 30-foot, 4-strand hemp lariat, with spliced eye and whipped end. It might be worth investigating.

      Hallo!

That would be Doug Kidd at Border Leatherworks.
