    Anita, A book I ran across back in college that was published in the mid-1800's said Canadians were quite common in Southern Illinois and the St.Louis area due to the French influence of this area... I wish I could remember the title, but I do remember thinking that it was interesting to know Canadians and TB's were common out here! Z

      It's great to here that the Canadian breed is still around. Is there a connection to the extinct Naraganset pacer?
