The growth and improvement of the 1st Maine is not only our own doing. Our evolution is also a product of outside influences - this organization is very fortunate and honored to have had such quality influences.

I find that I am addicted to being a cavalryman and the pains I feel after an event such as Unison are not from the exertions of a weekend in the field, but are in fact withdrawal symptoms. I so long for my next fix.

I posted the pics our bugler took. When the infantry fellas took our picture and again at Welbourne on Sunday, I saw several cameras pop out, but I haven't gotten any of those yet.

Also, someone sent me 9 new images by a Karen Moore of Unison 2008. From the Photos page, select "Last Year" from the buttons up top and open the Unison album, Karen's photos are at the bottom of the page.
