Re: heres someone I nice Christmas gift...
Oh son of a Maryland,
I would take your advice but there is no flea market anymore within 50 miles of me but there are numerous country antique joints where it is not only possible , but likely, to find other cool period stuff like Snaffle bits, hatchets, buckles, etc etc. I havent run across a period Y curry comb yet though.
Actually I do have two of them already, one of Jan's repops which I like very much and the other is an original ( I forget how much I gave for it)
These do seem a bit high dollar to me also but D***** man its all about the giving ! not the price!Patrick McAllister

Gents-
I love finds online as much as the next guy, but this is almost a Social Group discussion... does talking about online/yard sales further the research value of this thread? If it is found on e-bay and we want to discuss the authentic claims of such an item, then there is merit to this, but I'm in question of anything further on this.
We certainly don't want to go the way of other forums.
Thanks for your cooperation and understanding. - Johnny LloydLast edited by Johnny Lloyd; 12-12-2009, 04:47 PM.Johnny Lloyd
