    Re: 2010 Events

    Good to hear, Jeff.

There will be a more official broadcast coming after the meeting and as we get some of the "headliners" nailed down. I can tell you this........as well as the one last year went, I think this one will be head and shoulders above it.

    respectfully,

      Re: 2010 Events

I have a commitment that weekend:( I was hoping it would be the weekend before, but you can't win them all.

Old South, sorry but you are on your own for the pull up to TN.

Can someone(Tom Craig) send me some info on Unison? I'm getting hungry for a good cav event.

          Re: 2010 Events

          Jeff,

You've come to the right place! Unison is a kick ass cavalry event, and for my money is the best cavalry event out there, bar none.
          When: October 8-10th, 2010
Where: Unison, VA -located in Loudon County, near Middleburg, VA (northern VA)
What: Federal Cav, Federal Inf, and CS cavalry square off on 100% original and undeveloped battlefield land. The event is a marching and fighting event that covers for cavalry, close to 20 miles (infantry is more like 12) of marching on original unpaved roads, and crosscountry. We fight precisely where the battle occoured in 1862. We've got close to 20 Fed cav signed up, about 50 Fed infantry committed, and at least 15 CS cavalry are slated to attend...we could use some more CS cavalry because the odds are against them!

We have the general outline of things on a website for the event at: www.mainecav.org Just go to the front page, or the schedule and you'll find a link for it. If you'd like more specific info, email me at tom.craig@ymail.com

          We'd love to have you!
          Take care,
          Tom Craig
