Well Jake, there was. And, it was nice to have em, but, since the event was designed, constructed and billed by the park as "The Horse Soldiers- Cavalry in the Civil War; it was targeted to attract tourists from Lexington's huge FEI World Equestrian Games; the museum exhibits were re-vamped to focus on cavalry; the speakers, activities and even the T-shirts sold were "cav" focused and well,.....this "is" the cav forum....

And it was nice to have them, but there is something to be said for an all cavalry event! It almost seemed like a mini Brandy Station.
