The saddle I am selling is the copy of the Elliot saddle from Crenshaw';s battery. This is near an exact copy of the one pictured in the saddle books and housed at the M.O.C. It is a saddle that would have been ordered by an officer or someone who had the means to do so. It is a tree that fits a horse well and fits a larger man. It is the best officer's saddle I have ever seen made. Made by the only person left making such things in this era, Stuart Lilie. No other CW saddle maker has even come close. So obviously this is a one of a kind. It is new, ridden less than 5 times.Contact me if interested. $2000

This saddle is awesome and I wish that I could afford it. I have seen pictures of it and Stuart Lilie is one of the best saddle makers in the business!

Todd,

Is it of the lighter tan leather that Stuart uses a lot? His website is experiencing some problems and I can only access some of his 18th century stuff. He has a 1759 Elliot Light Dragoon saddle that is viewable but not sure how the leather looks on what you have.

Like Jerry said, a photo would be nice.
