Announcement: New Cav Forum "Co"- Moderator....

I was pleased to recommend and now to introduce Mark Choate as a "Co-Moderator" on this Cavalry Forum. While this area of the AC forum exhibits an extraordinary amount of good behavior and self control and is therefore low maintenance, it is difficult for me personally to be "on the job" as often as should be. I am appreciative of Mark agreeing to be of service here and to the benevolence of the other AC mods and authorities in approving this request.
Most of you are well acquainted with Mark I am sure but, let me add that beyond his organizational skills, his leadership abilites on the field and his knowledge of authentic cavalry, Mark also has an abundance of good judgement, tact and diplomacy that will serve him as well here on this forum as it does elsewhere. Please join me in welcoming Mark. Thank you!

I want to say THANK YOU for all the behind the scenes work you do.

Welcome aboard. May the holiday season smile on you and your's. Hopefully we will not cause too many headaches over the next year and perhaps we will challange you just enough to pull your hair out.

I hope to meet you on the field (or in camp) over the coming years.

Thank you very much for the vote of confidence and the compliments and my thanks to the rest of you for the kind words.

Now, let's "hunker down" and focus on doing all that we can to improve the level of authenticity in the cavalry portion of the hobby and to put the very best mounted impression (be it military or civilian) that we possibly can on the field!
