  • A note of thanks...

Friends, I have been on the A/C since Paul first opened a public forum in something like 97/99. In the early days both here on Szabo’s forum and the Military Horse I witness some flame wars that grew until there were threats of legal action and violence. I cannot begin to tell you how much I appreciate the fact we can discuss something like saddles, without degenerating to juvenile behavior. It is that type of information sharing and respect for one another’s opinion, be that they may vary, that has kept me on this forum and in this hobby. I would like to extend my thanks to Paul, Coley, Ken and now Mark for their moderation. If we can continue to moderate ourselves and behave like gentlemen, they may they never need to step in. I consider myself luck to have met a few of you and look forward to meeting the rest of you in the field.

    Sincerely, Zack Ziarnek

    Zack,

Well said! I hope that others feel the same way you do and will come to post more. This AC cav forum is by "us" and for "us". We welcome and strongly encourage folks to post. Please be sure to 1. Use the search engine "first". 2. Keep it relevant to our period and the A/C mission and above all.....keep it respectful.
And, thank you for the kind words. It is my personal pleasure to be a small part of it. I am sure Paul, Coley and Mark feel the same way.

Like anything that one has a true passion for- we tend to receive much more than we give.

This is the only section of the A/C that I look at on any kind of regular basis - for all the reasons that Zack mentioned and the fact that there are some great minds such as Ken, Mark and others who contribute unselfishly of their expertise and knowledge. Keep it up, boys!
