  • NY mounted services jacket

Hello all, if someone here knows a thing or two about New York uniforms I'd appreciate some help. I picked up a cdv taken in Williamsburgh, NY (part of Brooklyn) that shows a soldier wearing a version of a mounted-pattern jacket. It has ten buttons down the front, a belt loop on the side, piping and at least two buttons on the cuffs, and a short collar that still features the stripes and buttons. Is this perhaps an economy version of the cavalry and artillery jacket, or one particular to certain units? Thanks.
