Jerry, is this an extension of the group that Rob Bruno is putting together? Or is it a seperate group entirely? Please do forgive me if this has already been brought up.

                William,
We are OK so far on gear . We are trying for the new bandbox, matching look on some of the gear .Maybe look like all of the fellas came out of the same community. It is not often we get to this .

Dan it is always a pleasure to ride with you . You should of been born a southern boy. Your mom dropped you of at the wrong place!

                  Hey All,

It's starting to look like there will be a good number of top shelf cavalry gathered together for this event. That, on top of the 7th TN COI is a great start to the 150th cycle! See you all in Virginia!

                  Take care,

                    Tom,
Y'all ,not you all. I thought we worked on that in GA....Remember when you say it to drag it out slowly. I know we will have to give you another lesson in July. I look forward to riding with you and the others of the 1st Maine again. I even taught Dan to say it right and now he is the premier cougar bait on the way to the events.

                      Hi Jeff,

We would love for you to hook up with us and go up. So far, I have been amazed at the interest that the unit has shown even considering the buying of the shirts, etc. It is great. There will be a larger force coming up for this than I expected. I just emailed you the packet that I sent out last week to them.

Rob, hope you fellas have plenty of room up there!!

Ethan, better get your "shirt-makin'" britches on, cause there are some order forms coming your way.

Re: Forming a cavalry squad for Manassas

Looks like we may be coming from the far corners of the Confederacy for this one. Don't worry, Jerry, I'm sure they'll all be speaking proper southern English by the time we leave Northern Virginia. I'll try to make sure I don't bring any of our guys with a Cajun accent. Then they'll really be screwed up. Laissez le temps roulles, y'all.

Im glad everyone is excited but I want to stress.................Battle shirt orders need to get in along with the buff belt order, Again I don't want to sound like a $%#@ but these things are a must to participate.

OK, Let me get this straight, I need to coordinate between the mainsteam cav, all of our groups, working with the Southern Division, getting new kits together, contact people around the country, AND now get people to speak in the same accent? What? Ethan, let me know if any of the applications for shirts and belts has an application for commanding officer.......

On a serious note, I am glad there is a lot of interest in this event for a lot of reasons. This hopefully will be a good start to a great run of events throught the 150s.
                              Thanks for all you support
