    Re: Shiloh 2012...

I'm back in town for a few days. Mark, please put me on your email discussion if you're willing. Let's see if the infantry and cavalry can coordinate efforts. Manassas was already far along when I got involved after the election. I'd like to see what you guys want to do at Shiloh.

Jerry, I'd like to rent Smokey, or any horse you'd make available, for Shiloh if he's available.

Mark and Jerry and Ethan and whoever else, Mark wants to do a South Union ride as a walk through, and I want saddle time before Manassas. Can you guys start an email with possible dates so we can all get coordinated?

I will loop you in, Matt as I get the email addresses in and start the discussion.

Will get a date to ride South Union, too.

Loop me in, too, Mark. I'd like to know all of my options before I start trying to put together a blue impression.

Add me too, I want to know more about this (trying to build up a blue impression anyway, this may motivate me a little more).

                    Michael,

You are exactly correct that those were the directions.
It is tough to get cavalrymen to follow instructions, you know, ha. :wink_smil

                        Zack and everyone,

                        You're timing is impeccable!

I have an update that I will be sending out to the "group" this weekend. While it is not what I thought (or hoped) that I would be announcing seven days ago, it does clarify the options somewhat. I will first put this out to the email group that I messaged back in early May. If you are reading this and were not on that communique (and wish to be), please send me your email address via a P.M.

Thanks for everyone's patience in this frustrating matter.

                        regards,
                        Mark

                          To all interested parties!

I have just sent out an email regarding the authentic cavalry opportunities that are being offered and worked on as it would relate to the 150th Shiloh event, taking place next year (2012). It is our wish, at this time, to hash out and refine our discussion a bit prior to bringing it onto the Cavalry Forum here on the A/C.

If you did not receive a copy of this email and wish to, then please message me at: choatecav@aol.com

                          Thank you for your interest.

                          respectfully,
                          Mark
