  • Cav for Chickamauga film

    Gentlemen,
For the August 13th Film shoot for the new Chickamauga Visitor Center film we still need a few mounted folks. If anyone is available please let me know ASAP. Payment will be provided the day of the shoot. The shoot will be at Prentice Cooper Park which is a short distance west of Chattanooga. We mainly need US impressions, but are asking that folks bring both. Once again if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

    Lee,

Were it not for everything going on here at work, I would come down to help with this. We worked with the same crew (I think it was Tyler, etc.) that you have, back in March/April to do the one for Shiloh and it was a great experience. Getting to portray Col. Everitt Peabody and get shot in the face was an experience for sure.

I strongly urge any of the mounted men here to volunteer for this if you can as it is very educational to see how these are made.

    regards,

Oh man! I hat e to miss this opportunity, but my Federal Kit won't be ready for about another 2 months. It would be a great time to escape the heat here in Texas!

Trade Texas heat for Georgia heat...??? Now we know the heat has gotten to you... Would love to help Lee, but the 13th was booked for me months ago. Z

          Lee,

I should be there mid afternoon on the 12th. I'll have both kits with me and I'll even
throw my Spencer Rifle in the truck just in case there is a need for any of Wilders men to be on film.
