I haven't done any particular reading about what Winder's Brigade carried at Chickamauga. One of those eager beavers who has ready access to the regimental papers may be able clear that up.
Interesting idea for the WIGs to suggest going as a unit which was dismounted for some important parts of that battle. Having a large contingent of mounted would certainly help the impression of the battalion as a whole.
