    Some more AoT papers today, this time from the Ordnance Officer who was with Wharton's Brigade/Division for most of 1862-64, a goody mix of arms in this one, including a possible Spillier and Burr revolver sighting!

    I understand "Texas Cavalry Saddles" but it would be interesting to know what they called "Texas Cavalry Stirrups".
