    Returns of ordnance supplies on hand (usually submitted quarterly) and requisitions of supplies can be so helpful to interpreters. Here is a mounted infantry unit that apparently used Mississippi rifles, as well as other assorted weapons. There was a time it used Sibley tents and once requisitioned 313 haversacks! Thanks for the information about supplies issued to this cavalry unit that operated throughout Virginia. Do your notes indicate which depots supplied the unit?
