Hey all,

I wanted to take a second to brag on my newest piece of tack that I received this week from Nick Duvall. I wanted a civilian breast strap to use with my federal gear, since we all know that the dreaded brass heart breast strap is not authentic with a '59 Mac. Nick went above and beyond, making me the most handsome piece of tack that I've ever owned. Great weight leather, flawless craftmanship, excellent period details, and quick and great service. It's a great match to the civilian headstall that Nick made for me last year. If you need something made from leather, you can't go wrong with Duvall Leatherwork!

That is great to hear of Nick's quality work and not one bit of a surprise.

Also want to say, "Kudos" to you, Tom for making that extra effort to lead by example and continue to refine your impression and help stamp out a blatant "reenactorism" that we see far too often.

I will do. I would have taken a picture at this weekend's event, but that would have been farby! lol I'll take a picture of it once I've oiled it and cleaned all the horse schmegma off of it.
