    Another well worn Mississippi cavalry unit, often served with the 1st (Lindsey's) and 2nd Mississippi Cavalry. Been looking for Ordnance reports for this unit for some time, finally found some early war ones.

    thanks for posting. My GGGrandfather" James Edward Walker Grace" served in the 28th. He was from Holmes County.
