Moderators...I've no idea as to where this should go. I ask your indulgence. Does anyone know of any writing or verbal expression on behalf of Gen. Lee which ever suggested he did or did not change his low view of Imboden? It most certainly seemed that Gen. Imboden was equal to his task and did a magnificent job of guarding the train in retreat. Do any of you recall a report or dispatch mentioning anything to that effect? Just wondering.
