We were told 12 artillery pieces. Either way, a large artillery demo on Sat. I will be there with the STRI artillery crew at Duncan field.Last edited by Craig L Barry; 04-04-2018, 10:19 PM.Craig L Barry

Re: 11 cannon will fire at Shiloh living history event on April 7
UPDATE: Nope. Hot off the presses. Shiloh Anniversary Event not happening. I'm going anyway.
See below:
Greetings Everyone!
Due to already saturated ground conditions and predictions for heavy thunderstorms Friday night, Shiloh has cancelled their big event on Saturday. BUT they have asked us to help them salvage the situation.
One of our guns is already at Shiloh, and I have 18 rounds made. Joe Davis has asked that we supply one crew to man our piece alongside their crew and cannon for section firing programs near the visitor center. I know several of you already have hotel rooms booked and some had plans for arriving on Saturday. I need 6-8 volunteers to still make the trip so we can help our friends at Shiloh make the best of a bad deal.
Email or text me if you're in. For those thinking about camping, the superintendent has declared there will be no sleeping on the field Friday night.
Your Obedient Servant,
Jim LewisCraig L Barry
