Just picked up an original M1859 McClellan and need 6 iron foot staples plus the 4 iron rings and staples to restore the tree. I do have a nice stash of No. 11A buckles. These are wax casting identical replicas, gray finish, needing only a tongue easily fabricated from a nail. (The No. 11A has various uses including coat straps, saddle bags, etc.) Anyone willing to trade some correct iron hardware? Best use the email rather than the forum, as we log on only infrequently.
