  • Cav congress

we are only a few months away from the july cav congress. We need to get off our collective butts and get registered, if you havn't already done so. If we want good things to happen in the cav this is an opportunity to really make a differance for ourselves.

    Hey Fellas,

I sent my form and check in today. Ken Knopp and many many others from this forum are working very hard to get this school going.

I think this event is going to help our Cav part of this hobby to grow and mature .

            Re: Cav congress

I will try to be there. I won't have a horse, not enogh horsepower to get her there, but would like to be able to meet some of you that are in the forefront of the hobby. You Critters, I know, and a great bunch of guys. Just haven't been in the field of late to see you. My own guys haven't seen me in months.

              Re: Cav congress

              Gentlemen,

It is with great disappointment that I must announce the postponement of the Cavalry Congress. Sadly, for various reasons including family issues, work, vacations and sickness, several of our key leadership/instructors have recently been forced to drop out. With that kind of successive, critical and late fallout, the task of reorganizing is impossible. Therefore, after discussion with several others we have decided it best to postpone the event- for now.
This was and remains a GREAT idea! The reasons and enthusiasm for the event are still vibrant and alive to the extent that we are considering another time possibly this coming winter or spring. For now however, it is too early to predict anything. Having put a lot of time, thought and effort into this (and some cost), many of us are obviously very disappointed. I know several people were looking forward to it and will too be disappointed but, such is life.
To those that registered, you will receive a full and timely refund. To them and, to those of you who were planning on attending or that worked to make this a reality, please accept our most sincere apologies for any inconveniences you might have incurred. The “debut” and work of several exciting new cavalry products such as the Spanish Moss saddle blankets and pads, British numnahs and more items will continue. Look for more information on these to be announced via the usual forums, etc. Those seeking additional information on this or any other subject may contact me via email below.
