  • Friction Primer Packaging

Bit of an ordnance junkie here and have been researching period packaging for friction primers.

Does anyone know of any surviving Confederate friction primer packages? I'm looking for both the 10 pack in paper and the larger tin for 10 paper packages.

I've already contacted the MOC and they don't have any intheir collection.

    Thanks for your help!

Thanks so much guys. I sent an e-mail to the Atlanta Museum. Love the photo! I had not seen that one. Do you know anything about construction details? Size?

        Thanks!
