    Does anyone have the dementions for Canister for a 3" Ordnance Rifle?
    My battery want's to shoot some and I really want to make them as authentic as I can Thank you very much.

    This is a reproduction Hotchkiss built from an original sabot and balls found in the Salt Creek near the union seige lines at Savanna. Of course the plexiglass is optional. The most common type used had a wooden sabot and were pretty much the same for either side. Dickey's / George's book gives the diameter as 2.92 inches, length as 7 inches and there is a nice picture also.
