No, Infantry becomes Uhlan's after being destroyed in a box...as in "I saw uhlan down after the canister ripped through your regimental box"

"My mother Expressed a box of commestibles to me through that new upstart company, American. Adams being the preferred express agent, I wonder if American will stay in business after the war?"

Now I'm getting hungry with all of this box talk....where's a Jack in the Crack when you need one?!

If you mean the weapons were in the Battery Wagon, I am not to sure that I would agree with that...This is a rolling repair shop for the battery. Lots of tools packed into that wagon and its limber chest. The limber chest for the wagon and field forge do not have the same interior as for a gun... I have seen one Battery Wagon that was loaded with most of the tools and gear that the manual states should be there... Bill Thomas Driver Lazarus Battery

I used to sell battery boxes for a living....if you recognize Vynckier, bollard, NEMA 3R then you're on the right track. If the original question wasn't about telegraphic equipment (a 'battery' box) then I'll eat a bugle (surpisingly tasty corn chips).

My son is going to play volleyball for the IPFW Macedonian's next year....or is that pronounced Mastadon's?

Vietnamese 'ladies' used to yell out "you numbah wan GI, me love uhlan time"....I thought this came from a WWI scenario impressian....

remember, a similar thread discussing dismounted cavalry operating outside of the box shouldn't be rekindled here.....

Maybe I'll read that book on Chickamauga on a Kindle...

Casual reference to battery wagon, you know, the box on that wagon, that's all.

But let's use the terms from the manuals.
