Gents of the Artillery:
Is there anyone on this forum who has knowlege of artillery from the Mexical War period?
I have a historian friend of mine ( Neal Graffy)who is doing research for a book on John C. Freemont and is researching the movement of his Calif. Battallion over San Marcos pass. One of his primary sources is a diary written by a U.S.Navy Lt. who was aparently his chief of Artillery (!!) Neal would appreciate any insights to his questions.
