Greetings:
I am up to five guns for Fort Dix. Six guns would give us a nice full early war battery.
I have been given a barracks so upon arriving Friday you will have a place to stay.
I have been told the command at Fort Dix is quite excited about our being there. We will be rendering honors for a Major General and a promotion, and a change of command ceremony
We of the Sixth New York Independent will be happy to fill your gas tanks for your full round trip if any artillery units out there would still like to come.
Here is your chance to honor the brave men and women who have chosen to put themselves between us and the forces of evil.
The Sixth New York Independent Battery is not receiving any funds for this operation. When asked if I could help out I simply asked, when and where.
