Could be a deal, but not likely with that much time left. Do you guys think this is a repro? If so, it seems odd that the maker didn't put his mark on it.

Personally, I had written this one off as a repro when I first saw it on eBay. I find the pommel holsters particularly laughable with the hat insignia attached to the hairy covers.

Tom,
I see where he states that it is probably a "reenactor's saddle" but I don't see where he calls it a reproduction. Just being a reenactors saddle is not an admission of it not being an original as I use several original civilian saddles at events based on which type of impression is needed.
If I am missing the word "reproduction" in his description, please let me know.

He calls it vintage in the title. He does mention the 1833 stirrups.
Granted it is the repro/reenactment category, but someone is going to get a DK for 1,400 smackers.Mike Schramm

Personally, I wouldn't buy a pack of matches on eBay without researching it.
