    What's up with this Mac?

Obviously for the civilian market, but I'm not familiar with the stitching or tack patterns. Do you think it was it made this way or converted?

Gary, your right!..... Post war commercial Mac including the tree and leather treatment. The tree bars, pommel, cantle, sitrrup strap hangers are all "non-military" and widely different from the contract wartime patterns. Leather is most certainly commercial but also with "repairs" along the way. Best left alone as an curious and odd Cracker-Barrel type wall hanger.
