We have an event this weekend that I will not be able to take my own mount . The horse I will ride is an experienced cav. horse but older, and a bit sway backed. In all my years of horses I have never had to deal with the sway back issues. How does one saddle a horse like this as far as padding ? Do I try to fill the hollow , or use a thick felt pad and then blanket...? any advise will be appriceated. plm
