4th US Cavalry

Hello,

I am Nicolas, I am French and I am 23 years old. My WW2 reenactment association would like to have a civil war cavalry branch.

We would like to represent the 4th US Cavalry, but I can't find much information, we are not used to research on the Civil War. If someone here can help us, it would be a pleasure.

Hi Mr. Robache,
The reenacting unit 11th Ohio Volunteer Cavalry have a research library on their website. Also the Library of Congress has a lot of photographs of the time period. An other one is Silas Taket’s links has a lot of information, I think there is a link for it somewhere on this website.

Thanks for the reply, I'll look into it further. Research on the Civil War for a French is quite complicated.
