Registration for THE PARK is OPEN!
The stuff 1st Section has been putting on is truly unique and unmatched in authenticity. And there aren't many opportunities to see a full scale Yankee light artillery battery in the field, complete with guns, caissons, the Battery Wagon, the Battery Forge in operation, wagons, horses, mules, and a battery's worth of entirely hand sewn Sibley Tents.
This is not one to miss. You don't need a whole new kit, you don't need to be an expert in light artillery today--you need to be willing to read the manual, arrive early (we're starting at noon on Friday), shovel some shit, run a bunch during drill, and live a day in the life of an artilleryman.
