If some of those photos had been taken with a period camera you would be hard-pressed to tell the difference between then and now - outstanding impressions.

I know I farbed out when i took those pictures, but I was just so overcome by the moment and knew how impressive a picture would look that I took a hit and went to the rear and took a few quick shots. I was really surprised that the pictures came out so well of the battle because I had taken them all in such quick succession.
I tried to hide far behind the line to get those shots and be discreet, I hope I didn't ruin anyone's "moment" while doing so.
I especially like the picture I took after the event was over of Matt Rector and Mark Mason standing without weapons in front of a line of fully armed Confederates. Their tired and worn out looks really do look like they had just been captured.Ryan Burns
