The Worshipful Master, Wardens and Brethren of Hiram Lodge #7, Tennessee Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons, are holding this special degree in conjunction with the Battle of Franklin re-enactment being held the same weekend at Spring Hill, Tennessee.
The degree will be held in the Historic Lodge that is home to Hiram #7 -- only 12 miles from the re-enactment site. Come visit our historic building, completed in 1823, was the first three story brick building in Tennessee, renowned for its Gothic architecture, barracks for Federal soldiers before the battle of Franklin, a general hospital after the battle of Franklin, home Lodge of Capt. Todd Carter (mortally wounded in his own backyard during the battle of Franklin) and where Federal soldiers’ names can still be seen graffitied on the second floor walls.
Entire degree will be in a period setting and in period attire.
All visitors are encouraged to attend in period attire – military or civilian.
