    Jonathan,
Based on past Outpost events, it will be one to remember since it is your first authentic event. I don't even remember which my first authentic event is anymore, but I doubt you'll forget yours. Enjoy it!

A federal battalion, searching for information on the Confederates, comes across a fiesty bunch of Rebs hungry to give what for. The plucky federals pitch in and a weekend of aggression fills the participants with tons of immesion experiences and a Sunday ride home filled with great stories. Sounds more fun than____________, (you fill in the blank.)

Don Smith of the Trans-Mississippi Depot. (TMD).

I have one from him, and am very pleased with it.

              John,
Field music is not needed at the event. I spoke with Art about this previously.

                  The latest from Art is:
The southern side is already taken care of, but if Terry would like to make use of a Drummer, he is more than welcome to offer his services to the Federals.

I have noticed that the registration list for Outpost III hasn't been updated for a short while. I was wondering how the Federal side is coming together. I sent my registration in several days ago and I'm really looking forward to the event.

The registration page will not be updated any more than once every week or two. If you're registered, expect to show up, and if your pards are thinking about it, make them show up too.

I'm registered and have my airline tickets purchased for the trip out from Arizona.

I'd sure like to see more of the Sh*t *ss Platoon (2nd Platoon, Co A at BGR) signed up for Company C, 89th Illinois Infantry Regiment. It would be real pleasure to see what we can do to the Rebs when not compelled by the script to run away at every darned turn in the road. ;-)

Ever consider what it means to be captured by Apaches?
