Date: June 8-10, 2007
Location: Vicksburg National Military Park, Vicksburg, Mississippi.
CS impression: 20th Alabama
The 20th Alabama was in position at Fort Garrot during the siege of Vicksburg, for any of those who have visited the park in recent years, this is the area they have recently cleared of all trees, back to its appearance in 1863.
US Impression: Waiting for Suggestions and Approval from VNMP. Either will be Hovey's Brigade pr Slack's Brigade. As stated, awaiting approval from the park.
There is also open spots for 2 federal pieces and one confederate field piece. Anyone with interest please contact me at westernpicket63@yahoo.com
Ratios will be forced for this event as it is both mine and the parks wishes not to have an over representation on the confederate side. If you intend to do Confederate I suggest you register early. If you do not register before the cut off point, you will be allowed to go federal. Confederate registration will only go 10 over the allowed amount, after that it's either federal or nothing.
Registration for this event will be $25. All remaining registration money will be donated to Vicksburg. Website and registration form coming soon. Please watch for updates.
