Federal Participants please read!!!!

Hello pards. Saturday night when we broke down the shelters in the trenches, I was not able to find my own Enfield bayonet in that cornicopia of bayonets present. I was wondering if anyone else had accidentially taken my bayonet thinking it was theirs?? It has the V stamped at the bottom of the flat of the blade near the socket. The socket is not blued.It is in pretty good shape. It has a slight patina but no rust. The blade itself has several small bends to it. The bayonet is completely defarbed with no modern markings at all. While it is not an original, it still was a nice bayonet that fit both my Enfield and my scabbard perfectly. I would very much like to have it back. If you could all quickly check your bayonets it would be greatly appriciated.

We checked the camp site this week and nothing has turned up in the park.

Checked mine bayonet, formerly a trench line tent stake as well. It's mine. Sorry! Hope it tuns up!

Status on the missing bayonet? Hate to see someone just pick it up by mistake, but at this point it sounds like it was droped. :(
