    Winter encampent Jan 25-26

    A few of the Tarwater Mess met at Ft Duffield to discuss the event and continue work as needed in preparation for Buell's Pursuit event. The 8-10 mile route Mr. Woodburn's company will take has been cleared and will run along original parts of the L&N Turnpike, taking the same route Gen Buell used enroute to Lousiville. Additional work will commence this spring on some projects planned for the event.

                I'm telling ya, that photo almost looks like the scene with the rabbit and Sir Robin in MP's Holy Grail!

                All together, not a bad weekend. No cabins burned down and we were able to accomplish a few tasks, especially for the September event of Buell's Pursuit.
                I think we learned from the event that Jordan Ricketts may yet have a future as a Melodian:D.
