    CS Registration Cut Off Looms

    Can't say you weren't warned.

    The Confederate response has been far better than expected, so it is time to cut off registrations for the 47th Virginia Infantry impression. Registrations postmarked thru Thursday, 20 March 2008 will be accepted. Confederate registrations (other than the advertised specialty impessions) postmarked after that date will be returned. If you want to go gray, then this is the time to get your registration in the mail.

        Will there be vendors selling funnel cakes and bumper stickers? Can I bring my documented beer cooler? Nothing like cold beer and funnel cake after the battle.

        Ok, seriously, are there any quality vendors that have shown interest in attending?

          Yes they have and there will be none. Richmond NBP is a tad more restrictive on such things than I personally experienced at Vicksburg. Chickamauga seemingly more like Richmond. We could not devote sufficient energy to work through the red tape and gave up.

          While I am sorry, it removed a hassel on a tight time line. By the way, Boyd Myles would have been the coordinator. Nuff said.

              Just an FYI for you all about vendors, etc. Since I work for Chickamauga I have some inside info. It really doesnt deal with the NPS as much as it does with Eastern National, the non-profit vendor that a lot of NPS sites use.
