When Does the event Start?

...Well I'm glad you asked. The event goes live Friday, September 26, 2008 at 12 Noon. Late arrivals should contact their respective CO's so that we can get you to your respective areas. If we don't know about you much less an E.T.A. expect to find a deserted parking area a mile from the federal camp and then it's, "good luck."
The raffle will be at the conclusion of the event on Sunday, September 28, 2008. Back on the road around noon.
Directions to the event parking area will be sent out to those that registered in August. If the lake/and weather cooperate we will park by the Bluff View Marina. If not we have a Plan B but more on that when the time comes.

Wanted to add a note that the civilians are going live on Thursday evening. Anyone who wants to hike in to the event site with the civilians, which could include any renegades, deserters, shirkers, or Mossbacks, should meet us by 2:00 p.m. at the Marina. We'll get a ride to the drop-off point and then hike to the civilian base camp. From there we can explore the area a bit or go our separate ways, whichever you please.

Anyone coming in on Friday morning should make arrangements for transportation to the drop-off points with Frank. Be aware that the rest of the event will go live at noon, so make sure you plan your transportation to the event site accordingly. If any of you fear you might miss the deadline, please be sure to get directions to the drop-off points ahead of time. They're all within reasonable walking distance (no more than 2 miles roughly speaking) so it's doable, but you will need directions.
