I sent mine in last week, it should be here this week.
I did though have to unbuckle my spurs off my boots for this so it better be good!

Right on! I know we can field a 25 to 30 men. This is going to be one good company, DON'T MISS OUT!! It's been said before, but if your thinking about doing Into the Piney Woods next spring, this is a great warm up.

I don't see Troy Groves name up there but I know he will be going (should be in the mail), and maybe one more if we can just push a little more.

I sent mine in this morning. Still trying to find a couple more fellows to come along with Andy and me. Martin should be able go but has to wait until school starts to get his course schedule to make certain.

                    Re: Co.A Registration

This is about Rations. It takes considerable planning just to get things you take for granted like hardtack, bacon and the other good things we fry up. It all needs to be ordered in advance. Those of us on the logistical end are pulling our hair out just trying to figure out how much to order.
If you're coming please register today.

US and CS almost equal in number wise. If you're still on the fence I'm too tired to try and coax you off of it but the AAR's should be pretty good.

Boozie and I talked last night and Co.A men will be getting some information in the next two weeks.
By counting those who have registered and those that are sending in their registration forms this week we should have over thirty in Co.A.

                              Re: Co.A Registration

Ah, Mister Bevard, now you're going to get me all weepy eyed, thinking about the good times had last June and the possibility I may not be able to follow you fellers in Missouri. I do NOT have "permission" to attend Marmy's BUT I do have incentive so I WILL try to finish up the drywalling and painting in the next two weekends and then will "resubmit" my request from she-who-ranks-me to attend the fracas in Missouri. Note to recently married guys: actually finishing a project around the house on time and under budget wins many a future kitchen pass ;^)

Soooooooo, the question becomes -- if I send in my $25 but cannot go, can that money be applied to preservation? I certainly enjoyed the double rations (thanka Mssr Heef) at AHT but that had a lot to do with guys who couldn't make it at the last minute. (Soitainly no one would have refused even a morsel of such fare? That was some of the best salted piggy ever.)

Would I be causing a hardship/waste to sign up for Co. A and then not be able to attend the ball to use my paid-for rations?

To the brave lads of the recently dispersed Co B, 1st Minnesota -- I owe you a long AAR. Even with a broken leg, brother Tim had a life-changing experience as a reenactor. Thanks for making us feel so welcome.

                              Ever forward,
