Wail, I was thanking them Reauxbarbs was like crawfish and therefore the tails would not necessairly be animule parts...Can you make Reauxbarb bisque wid em ?

Boy's I tell ya, this whole Reauxbarb question has got me perplexed. When I finally get to see one I'm gonna boil it live, and pinch the tail, then eat it whole....Real Louisianaians don't suck the heads. That's what real Louisianaians tell them that dont know no better to do, that way one always knows who's the, wanna be.

A real Louisianaian rarely goes hungry, but when he does it's a cravin he's starving for, not cause there aint nothing to eat ! Bring on the Reauxbarb, were gonna Boil Reauxbarb.

I wouldn't be eating too many of them there rouxbarbs. Sounds like it could give a whole new meaning to field Manovures.

Earliest records date back to 2700 BC in China where Rhubarb was cultivated for medicinal purposes (its purgative qualities).

LT Danis is rite...no real Cajun, Creole, Anglish, or Mixed Blood would be caught sucking a bugs head...

The two things that concerns me the most is the Faux Louisiana Troops wearing crawfish tails on thier hats and eating Neautria da'late. For you Non-Louisiana Troops that is eating a rat...

Now, I saw enough rat eating at Vicksburg....we will have no more of this. And they say (Louisiana Boys) will eat anything....Those Georgia Boys have issues.

IST SGT Duffer please make a standing order...to allow us to shoot any of the two above.

I am going to have to give yall something to cook up in "Cheesehead Land"

            Chicken, Sausage, and Rouxbarb Jambalaya
            By: Chief Henr'i Beasley

1 small chicken (2 to 3 pounds) cut into 2-inch pieces, rinsed, and dried 8 cups Chicken Stock or water
½ cup oil 1 tablespoon chopped garlic Salt to taste
2 cups finely chopped onion Ground cayenne pepper to taste
½ cup chopped bell pepper 1 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 cup finely chopped green onions 2 pounds smoked sausage, sliced ¼ inch thick
            3 cups long grain rice

In a heavy, high-walled chicken fryer over a medium heat, brown the chicken in the oil, stirring the meat around so it won’t stick. After the chicken has browned, remove it from the pot. Then add the onions, bell pepper, parsley, and green onions, and sauté until the onions are clear. Stir in the sausage, rice, stock, garlic, chicken, salt, and pepper. Continue cooking until nearly all the water has boiled out, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and let simmer until the rice is done, about 1 hour. Do not lift the lid for at least 1 hour.

Now you Yankee Boys can leave out the Rouxbarb....it's good eating.

              Gents,

I have to say I agree with 1st Sgt. Duffer and want to let you know that I will be enforcing his order on my end of the company! Don't waste your ammunition on hunting game--there's plenty of the enemy out there for you to be shooting at. They're the real game because they can shoot back!

Looking forward to a good time in the South with my comrades...

Besides working out, I am going to be eating Rouxbarb while getting ready for PM. Instead of "Marching thru Georgia" we will be "Having the Runs thru Georiga"

I hate to be the one who must tell the bad news, Chicken Man was pulled over at Vicksburg, he has been caught hauling Rouxbarb across the state line again. Mississippi had not passed the tax law yet allowing Rouxbarb in the State due to its 16% alkehol volume.

I guess we will have to continue bootlegging it across state lines at Kentwood.

Good news...Chicken Mans Lumper (Lupe)has crossed the border again and is working unloading Chickens trucks.

                              Lt Danies,

Your Rite, Mudbugs bout ready. I have been reading about all these Yankee Bouxs wanting to eat Bar B Q (a.k.a. Burnt Meat). Those boys have not been Far South (below Jackson, Mississippi) yet...for if they had, we would hear no more of this burning of good meat. The food you can make with Crawfish, Shrimp, and Chicken would convert you....especially the ice cold Miller High Life.

                                By: Chef Henr'i Beasley

½ cup olive oil 1 cup dry white wine
1 cup chopped onion 1 cup water
1 cup chopped onions 1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
¾ cup chopped bell peppers Salt and cayenne pepper to taste
1 tablespoon dried parsley or 1 cup chopped fresh parsley 1 tablespoon steak sauce
4 cups corn cut and scraped off the cob or canned whole kernel corn, drained 2 pounds crawfish tails, peeled

Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over a medium fire, then cook the onions, bell peppers, and parsley, stirring, until the onions are clear and the peppers are cooked. Add the corn and stir real well, then add the wine, water, and garlic. Stir in the salt, cayenne, and steak sauce, reduce the fire to low, cover, and cook until the corn is done, about 20 minutes. Add the crawfish and bring to a boil. Lower the fire and cook for 10 to 15 minutes.

Now if you Yankess really want to ruin this meal add Rouxbarb:D
