Welcome all Federal campaigners!
The Chesapeake Volunteer Guard would like to extend a home to all Federal campaigners for the 145th anniversary of New Market this May 15-17. We highly encourage any young men wishing to portray Confederates to join with the VMI cadets, but should you not be of an age to portray a cadet, or would prefer to go Federal please consider joining us.
We anticipate forming two or three companies from our members and would welcome any other existing companies or messes to participate as well as stand alone companies or consolidated with other organizations. Individuals who are interested can fall in with one of our existing companies. Contact us and we will find you a home.
We will be bivouacked at the Bushong barn so distractions from the heavy camps should be reduced. Unit portrayal, impression guidelines, and order of battle will follow shortly.
